ARTWORK INFO
Artwork is the biggest pain in the world of advertising specialties. I'll try to explain it a little here.
TEXT IMPRINT: If only all of it was this easy. This is when you just send text information and we typeset it and imprint it in any color that you want. You normally see this on pens with 3 or 4 lines of type which normally include the business name, address and phone number.
LOGO IMPRINT (ONE COLOR): This is when you have a logo that you want imprinted on an item. We will accept your logo in almost any type of computer art file. JPEG's and GIF's normally are not good enough quality. Faxing the logo to us is not good enough quality either. If possible, the best formats are .ai and .eps. It is also important that you convert your text to curves in case we don't have your font on our computer.
WE RECOMMEND USING www.24hourartwork.com We use them for all of our artwork and usually send clients there when they can't provide us with the artwork required. They will do it for just $12, or $15 if your artwork is very complex. When you order, place a vector order and ask for the Illustrator CS 2 output. If you don't feel like opening up an account there, we have one and will handle everything for you. All we charge is the $12 they charge us. If you want us to handle it please click on the PayPal order button and include your ordering information in the comments section. You will still need to email us the artwork file for us to send to them. We will credit your first TradeShowItems.com order $12 for all orders over $500 to help you pay for this service.
LOGO IMPRINT (MULTI-COLOR): This is where we break out the Excedrin. It can be real easy if you understand it. A different screen is required for each color of your imprint. If your logo has 3 colors, you need to send us 4 art files. One for each color, and one complete one (so we know what it's supposed to look like). The individual color files should be sent to us with everything in black, the complete one should be the only one in color. If you are unable to provide the artwork in this fashion, just email us what you have. We will try to convert it to the images that we need, but there is a $15 per half hour charge to do this, but most can be done in one half hour.
EMBROIDERY: This one is pretty simple. Send us a color picture/file of exactly what you want. Embroidery digitizing tape machines scan in the color photo and convert it to thread colors. These thread colors can be changed if required. If you have white on your logo, it isn't going to show up when you print out your logo on white paper. Just make it another color and add a note for us as to what color you want it changed to.
